Bayer Properties Awarded Third-Party Management of Whole Foods-Anchored Center in Hoover, AL

Birmingham-based commercial real estate firm expands local reach

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (July 30, 2019) Birmingham-based commercial real estate firm Bayer Properties has been awarded the leasing and property management assignment for Riverchase Village, a 175,673-square-foot open-air retail center in Hoover, Ala.

Riverchase Village is a leading power center located at the intersection of Lorna Road and Montgomery Highway (Highway 31). Originally constructed in 1980 and renovated in 2016, this 18.9 acre center is anchored by Whole Foods, PetSmart and Best Buy.

In addition to the offerings at Riverchase Village, the center is located across from the Riverchase Galleria, a 1.5 million-square-foot regional mall. Other tenants within Riverchase Village include Sola Salon, Market House Boutique, Bella’s Bridal, Chicken Salad Chick, Newk’s Eatery, Venice Nails & Spa, and more. Riverchase Village currently has two spaces available for lease, ranging in size from 2,500 square feet to 7,300 square feet.

Over the past three months, Bayer has increased its portfolio by more than a million new square feet, adding new properties and developments in growing markets, including Oklahoma City, Ok; Atlanta, Ga.; and now Hoover, Ala.
