BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (May 16, 2019) – Birmingham-based commercial real estate firm Bayer Properties announced today the appointment of Paul Neuroth as Senior Vice President of Leasing. The industry veteran officially joined Bayer in early May and will be a key leader in leasing across the firm’s 10 million-square-foot portfolio.

“Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several innovative projects, and have always admired Bayer’s approach toward mixed-use development,” said Paul Neuroth, Senior Vice President of Leasing at Bayer Properties. “I am excited to collaborate with such a creative, talented group of professionals and look forward to helping the firm grow.”

Neuroth brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to his position at Bayer, with a primary focus on retail, restaurant and office leasing and previously worked with Bayer from 2004 to 2007.

Prior to joining Bayer Properties, Neuroth served as Senior Vice President of Retail Leasing at Southern Land Company in Nashville, Tennessee, where he oversaw sales and leasing for the company’s commercial portfolio. Most recently, Neuroth was responsible for leasing 82,000 square feet of commercial space at mixed-use development Vertis Green Hills in Nashville. The project has remained 100% leased since opening and the residential component commands one of the highest rents in the city. Other recent projects directed under Paul include The Laurel in Philadelphia and Southside at McEwen in Nashville.

“I had the pleasure of working with Paul during his previous time with Bayer and am so excited for his return,” said Libby Lassiter, President of Bayer Properties. “Paul’s expertise will serve as an asset to our team as we continue to grow our national footprint.”
