TITLE: Staff Accountant - Birmingham, Alabama
REPORTS TO: Assistant Controller
PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Daily cash report & reconciliation of cash account
- Monthly bank reconciliations (approximately 100 accounts)
- Gift certificate/card reconciliations
- Tenant and contractor security deposits/contract escrows
- Mortgage/loan tracking (including principal, interest, and reserve balances)
- Preparation of invoices for mortgage/loan payments
- Tracking / recording of draw funding, interest swaps, and other project items
- Loan compliance (including quarterly and annual reporting)
- Fixed asset details and reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of tax information requests from tax accountants
- Miscellaneous general ledger account analysis and journal entries
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting
- Prefer 3+ years' experience (real estate related field a plus)
- Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to detect and avoid errors
- Knowledge of technical and professional principles and skills of accounting
- Proficient in computerized accounting systems
- Broad knowledge of accounting methods, language, reglations, etc
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibit high motivation and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
TITLE: Part Time Guest Services Associate - The Summit, Louisville, Kentucky
REPORTS TO: General Manager
PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES:
Hours: Saturdays 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Flexible based on business needs.
- Handle Administrative responsibilities (filing, special projects, reviewing newspapers, opening mail, etc.)
- Tenant Support (over the phone, making copies, etc.)
- Assisting walk-in customers
- Answer Phones
- Gift Certificate (selling and balancing sells)
- Light Accounting duties – handle daily bank deposits/reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Degree
- Prefer 2+ years experience in Customer Service
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
TITLE: Operations Manager – Front Range Village, Ft. Collins, Colorado
REPORTS TO: General Manager
PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Develop preventative and routine maintenance schedules
- Schedule and execute the repairs and preventative maintenance work required for the property, the building system, and equipment
- Inspect property on a scheduled basis and insure that it is clean, well maintained, in good repair, and receiving quality service in accordance with the related contracts from all vendors
- Follow up on all problem areas in a timely and cost efficient manner
- Submit weekly property inspection status reports to the General Manager which includes recommendations on additional repairs, major repairs and capital improvements
- Prepare maintenance and repair budgets including major repairs and capital improvements
- Communicate with the General Manager
- Coordinate and supervise activities with all contracted services to insure maximum efficiency and overall smooth operation
- Respond to all work requests in a timely and cost efficient manner.
- Insure efficient snow removal by monitoring and managing contracted vendor
- Coordinate tenant move-in and move-out as directed by the General Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Five (5) years of maintenance experience all areas; Two (2) years supervisory experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Must be physically able to climb, lift 75 pounds, and legally drive a vehicle
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Prefer 3+ years' experience (real estate related field a plus)
